This research was part of a wider £1.5 million HEFCE funded Restructuring and Collaboration programme. The overall programme supports the strategic direction of the Anglia Polytechnic University (APU) Regional University Partnership by strengthening links between the twenty-five partner institutions and offering all undergraduate students greater choice of curriculum and delivery mode. Videoconferencing is being developed to both encourage collaboration and to meet the challenges presented by distance, diversity and cost.
The report is a compilation of practitioners’ papers prepared in the Research Centre, City College Norwich, a partner college of Anglia Polytechnic University. The researchers sought opinions from representative staff from within the Regional Partnership Colleges during 2003 addressing practical issues surrounding collaboration and restructuring across the Regional University Partnership. The report examines mapping, costing, quality standards, feedback and procedures of curricula modules.
